Aladdins is still very much a family business. My brother Adam and I handle the work, and we both care about making sure you understand what you’re getting before anything goes on your windows.
And when looking at a sample in your hand isn’t enough, we’ll install film samples directly on your glass upon request. That gives you a much more accurate idea of how the film will look in your home, with your windows, your lighting and your view.

Residential Window Tinting FAQs
Will residential window film make my house look dark?
Not necessarily. Residential films are available in a wide range of visible-light levels and appearances. Some high-performance films are designed to provide meaningful solar control while maintaining a relatively neutral look.
Can window film help with rooms that get hotter than the rest of the house?
Yes. Windows with heavy sun exposure can contribute significantly to uncomfortable hot spots. We’ll look at the exposure and glass and recommend a film based on the specific problem rather than treating every window the same.
Does window film help protect floors and furniture from fading?
Window film can substantially reduce UV exposure, one of the contributors to interior fading. SunTek’s residential solar films block approximately 98–99% of UV in the manufacturer’s specified wavelength range, depending on the film.
Can you install film on dual-pane or Low-E windows?
In many cases, yes, but film selection depends on the glass construction and condition. We evaluate the glass before recommending a product rather than assuming every film is appropriate for every window. SunTek publishes specific film-to-glass compatibility guidance for Ultra-Vision and its other architectural products.
Do you offer privacy window film?
Yes. Depending on your goals, there are solar, reflective, decorative and specialty films that can increase privacy or change the appearance of the glass. Privacy performance depends on the film and lighting conditions. Window treatments such a blinds or curtains are still required for night-time privacy. When the light source changes; so does the ability to see in from the outside.
Do you also tint commercial buildings?
Yes. We provide architectural window film for homes and commercial properties. If your project is an office, storefront or other commercial space, select “Commercial” on the estimate form and tell us about the project.
